Should I Leave Negative Feedback or Let it Go?
Comments (14)Well, the item he lost was batteries--Every Walmart has 'em. So they're not a hard thing to replace. He didn't lose the charger, just the batteries, so he says. I will definitely not be leaving positive feedback. And I don't fear negative feedback. With 500 unique positive feedbacks, one negative won't hurt me much. And I can respond to his feedback and folks reading my feedback will know the seller was clearly wrong. I do think I'll leave a negative and state "Seller says AA batteries were stolen, can't replace them?? Refunded money." It took him about 2 weeks to refund the money, so that's not really "prompt". There's no guarantee that he hasn't already sold the item. Maybe a "roommate" offered him $15 instead of the $10 I was gonna pay. Or maybe he sells under another name or on another site. Who knows? He did refund my money so I won't leave him a negative. Thanks for the input, y'all. NancyAnn...See MoreShould I try to maintain organization, or let the garden go?
Comments (2)My garden has turned into a "free for all" because of all the seedlings that have taken over. I'd probably try to control it, if I had it to do over. Health issues got in the way, and now I spend a lot of time removing unwanted plants each year. When you dig up the seedlings, leave the dirt on the roots and just add potting soil to the pots to fill them. I've found the less I mess with the little plants, the better they do when transplanted or potted. Your friends will love you for sharing your babies. Good luck. Comments (2)I've found that letting these kinds of plants go to seed brings a whole new set of pollinators into your garden. If you want to save the seeds put a bag over the head when you see seeds forming and seal it. Then when the seeds are ripe just cut off the stem, turn the bag over and collect you seeds.... part of a nylon stocking works great for this, but a paper bag will do too....See MoreI think I should let one of my cats outside, but I don't want to.
Comments (31)I, too, have always had indoor/outdoor cats. Four in my adult lifetime, 2 pair. The shortest life was 16 years, the longest nearly 20. All were brought in at night. Some were more cooperative than others about coming in - the females seemed to like to stay out at night to hunt; the males came in more easily. I hate that they hunt birds and never had bird feeders in the yard until I no longer had cats. I was stressed about them being taken by predators; I've lived in rural areas with them so it was even more of a worry (although coyotes and owls are found in even more urban areas now). I put up a field fence in the woods around my house so that a cat could slip through but not a dog or coyote. I knew the cats would try to run for home if they got into trouble and some neighbors did not control their dogs. I also put a 2x4 with cross hatches like little steps on it up to the lowest part of our roof. There are plenty of trees here, but if the cats ran for home there is nothing right close for them to climb, so this gave them a way up from the ground. Unfortunately, the raccoons loved it, too. I think if you decide to let your cat be outside, you have to be prepared that something could happen to him and to not beat yourself up, or have regrets, for making that decision....See Moresammy zone 7 Tulsa
