Enfant de France

One of the two hybrid perpetual at Duke Gardens finally bloomed again this summer, Enfant de France. I'm not a huge fan of the kind of loose, fluffy, narrower petals of many HPs. However, it is easily one of the BEST roses I have ever smelled. To me, the fragrance is extremely strong. It's very citrusy to me, like lemon spice tea, just glorious. It's to bad it's so large amd HP bushes tend toward ugly and gangly, at least down here:
