Chinodoxa forbessi vs. C. lucillae: What's the different??

Hi,

Chinodoxa forebssi and Chinodoxa lucillae

Can someone tell me how these are different?

flower, seeding, hardiness, longevity, used differently because of growth habit, or?? I did recently read in a garden book that C. lucillae "is a prolific seeder".

(all I know is I planted some C. forbessi 'blue giant' last year and like them!)

Thanks,

growitnow

Hey growitnow! Found you a great article from the RHS about the different species of Chinodoxa... you will need to scroll down to the 5th page. Glad you asked since I got a chance to learn too ;-)
