Sunstruck hybrid tea roses

I bought these beautiful roses a few months back, took me a while to find the perfect sunny spot for them. I put them in the ground as the directions stated and a month later they are not doing so well. The leaves are yellowing and turning brown and look blackish in some spots. So I trimmed those leaves off, which didn't leave too many leaves on the roses! And at the base of the plant has a whitish looking powered residue. Other than those issues it has a little new growth and a new bud finally! I don't know what to do with them. Any ideas?
