Got my new phone today
Comments (18),, what kind of keyboard program are you using? I use SwiftKey which is very easy to use and learn. The predictions are right on target. You can get it from the Google play store. it is very customizable. I hate using any other kind of keyboard now. I don't care for the standard keyboard that comes loaded with the system. The on-board keyboard program will remain on the phone but you can download and add other ones to try out. Swift key does have a free version, I like it so much I did purchase the full app, not expensive and I caught it on a special deal. Check out the link below, you can install the free one to try, if you decide you don't want it just remove it. Same with the browser I have found that the standard browser is OK not great. I currently use UC HD BROWSER for android, it is by far the best browser I have ever used for android. it is amazingly fast and easy to use, I love it and highly recommended that any one using Android try it out. I have been a long time Firefox for android user but UC HD BROWSER blows it away, and it has a built-in ad block plus type filter built in. It is also available on Google play. Here is a link that might be useful: Swift key...See Moregot my new W/D today - yippee!
Comments (17)I do have to say that dryer did work well other than the screeching noise. It needed to work well since clothes were so wet coming out of the TL. Thankfully they lasted long enough for me to make a decision on replacements....See MoreGot my new Bosch DW today
Comments (19)I really like our 800 series Bosch DW. It washes dishes better than any DW I've used in forty years, and I love the third rack for flatware. I check our filter once a week or once every other week, and it definitely needs cleaning by then. The only "negative" is that I have to keep the door propped open or it smells really badly from whatever is on the dishes. We do not pre-wash or heavily rinse dishes before loading, just scrape and rinse the chunks of food off because it's not a garbage disposal and my hubby finally is getting that into his head. What works best for the odor issue is that I run it every night. Even pots and casserole dishes go in there and come out brilliantly clean....See MoreGot the layout today for my new counters!
Comments (0)I got the layout emailed to me today for my new countertops. We requested (and paid more for) the suggestions for the sink so that chipping would be less likely, that we got here on garden web. Joseph Corlett had suggested: "a 1/4" round over edge at the sink minimum, but prefer a 1/2". I would also suggest a 1/8" positive reveal." Which is what I wrote down and said to them exactly, word for word. LOL! on the sheet they mention 1/4 inch demi... is that the same thing as a 1/4 round over edge? Also they didn't mention the 1/8 inch reveal or show anything like that on the sheet (that I can't seem to load on here) should we be worried? I plan to follow up with them tomorrow first thing, just wanted to run it by the group wisdom before I do. Pam...See MoreTiffany, purpleinopp Z8b Opp, AL
