transplant shock

I transplanted a paniculata tree (snow mountain hydrangea) yesterday. It's been a long time coming... the tree just was not right for the area it had been planted in. It's about 5 years old. I wanted to wait until Fall but we have so much going on once the kids start school, and had a free weekend.... it was more convenient for *us* (clearly not the tree) to do it now. ;)

We amended the soil (cleveland clay soil) with peat moss, and put in some miracle grow plant starter. Then watered the heck out of it. This morning the leaves are droopy. Clearly it is shocked, but my question is.... should I wait it out, or is there something I could be doing to help it along? If the soil is moist, should I water again? I'm thinking no... but when I see droopy leaves, I usually water as a general rule :)

Thanks for any advice (but please don't scold me for moving it too early... I realize it isn't ideal, and wasn't the best time.... just what can I do to assure success from here on out?)
