Arisaema sex

My Arisaema sikokianum has set seed this spring, but I only have one plant. I've read that they're not self fertile because the flowers are typically either male or female, and both are not present on one plant. Does this mean that it likely hybridized with another species? The only other aroid blooming in my garden at the same time was A. urashima. Or do they sometimes set sterile seed?
