Austins, light shade

According to DA's catalog, they list as good for shady positons (3-4 hours of sunlight) 'the more vigorous English Roses.' Does that mean the ones that get huge? Which Austins do well for you in more shaded positions? Or for that matter any other rose? Keep in mind that we have very intense sun here so many plants do better with some shade.
