Climbing Westerland a big Bush?

User

I have a small Westerland rose bush that I bought this spring and would love to make just a bush out of it.

It has grown 3 good size canes (about 3 feet each), out of the bush which look nice, I would just like to have it as a bush instead of a climber.

I read that I shouldn't prune it the first 2 years I have it, so can I just let it grow?

I don't want to have to "train" it, I love the blooms, so what should I do? Just let it grow on it's own?

I have the room to let it just grow on it's own, will it just turn into a nice big rose bush?
