African Violets

Want African Violet leaf

Hello,

I would like to trade for an African Violet leaf. I have Hippeastrum "Orange Amaryllis" seeds to trade. I'm looking for a double or a flower with an edging . Here is the catch, I want to be surprised with color of the flower etc. I don't want to know the name or color of the flower.

I want it to be a surprise!!!

It must have been a misprint - the words "Coral" and "blue" don't really go together!! there is a Ness's Coral Bliss and a Ness's Crinkle Blue....guess there will be no way to tell till it blooms!

Pokey - you can order from US - some of the sellers provide a phytocertificate for extra $50 or so. violetbarn.com does it, violetgallery.com too. Or you can order at your own risk - they will send it to you without certificate - but it can be confiscated at the customs. Yes - the violet leaves will make it OK. Irina

Hi irina_co Thank you for the information and reply. I have been very fortunate as another Gardenweb member emailed me to share even in the midst of winter. In addition, I found some friends (local in my area) that had AVs. I was given a couple leaves to start a beautiful burgundy and a double pink and white. I am very excited and looking forward to growing them all.
