Has anyone successfully wintersown impatiens in zone 6?

Hi there, this is my first year attempting to winter sow in zone 6. In my excitement to experiment, I went ahead and WS'ed impatiens and zinnia's. I have read that impatiens don't do well this early in my zone, something that slipped my mind while at the store, and I am wondering if anyone has had any success in my area (ne Ohio)? I just put them out today - could I save them by bringing them indoors when the temp's are to get below 25 and/or overnight? Should I just leave them out and leave it to chance? Or should I ditch the seeds, chalk it up to inexperience, and try ws'ing something else?

I appreciate any advice anyone can offer! :)
