Soil test results are back, should I bother this fall?

I received my soil test results for my 1200 sq. ft. garden, not looking good (see below). Should I bother with a fall garden or just plant a cover crop?

pH: 4.5
Phosphorus: 6 lbs/acre (very low)
Potassium: 41 lbs/acre (very low)
Calcium: 159 lbs/acre
...

soil amendment recommendations (from soil test results):
125 lbs of lime per 1000 sq. ft.
20 lbs of 0-20-20
3 lbs of 34-0-0

I just bought 150 lbs of lime (pulverized dolomitic limestone) and the fertilizer. I know it takes time for pH to rise.

This spring I tried some squash, tomatoes, peppers, bush beans and cucumbers. Only the peppers and beans were marginally successful. Otherwise it was a disaster, after seeing the soil test results I know why (never trust a cheap home test kit)

Should I just put the 150 lbs of lime and fertilizer on, plant some fall crop and cross my fingers or just plant some sort of acid loving cover crop (if so I need suggestions for the deep south).

It is still very hot here, any recommendations for my soil condition and timing would be appreciated.
