Young Oak Tree

An oak tree volunteered in my used to be butterfly garden about three years ago. The young tree has continuously grown and is now about 5+ feet tall. It is truly not in a good place because there is another maturer Ash tree growing in front of it.

I am wondering what the chances of survival of the oak tree would be if I had it dug up and replanted this fall. I had to have an dead oak tree cut down and would like to plant the young oak tree near that spot.

What do you think?
