AM127304 bearing should have od of 1.380 for comparison.

I would verify that the dealer provided the correct replacement bearings before I made any alterations to my hubs.

If they are indeed the right bearings, try sticking them in your deep freezer before installing them, and put the hubs somewhere toasty warm. The bearings just might shrink ever so slightly and go in the hub easier. I wouldn't remove material to make a bearing fit, as you're not necessarily going to remove the material round and true.

And instead of a hammer and a block of wood, try a hammer, block of wood, and an appropriately sized socket (or the old bearing race).

A detail to remember with bearing assemblies and driving them home. If you are driving a bearing ONTO A SHAFT, apply force only to the inner race (part that touches shaft). If you are driving a bearing INTO A BORE, apply force only to the outer race (part that touches bore or hub) If you apply force to the wrong race, you could damage the races and/or balls or rollers. It's also helpful to lube the bearing and shaft or bore with oil or grease where the bearing contacts the bore or shaft. This will help the bearing move.

If you "hammered" the old bearings out to remove them and they went crooked you may have damaged the bore.
Always "press out" a bearing and "press in" the bearing only press on the fitted race (as mowie describes) and it takes "very little" grease.
At this point I would take the wheels and bearings (old and new) to the dealer that sold you the bearings, if every thing is OK they will probably press the new bearings in for you (very little charge), if something is now damaged they will supply whith new (and that could be a charge).

I suspect you have the wrong bearing. Check the part number on the surface of the old bearing and the new bearing. They should be the same regardless of who made them. Measure each with a caliper and see if they are the same size.
