Wow, that's beautiful! But with a name like Runaway Robin, I'd be a bit hesitant... I think I'd keep it in a pot!

From what I've found out it can be invasive but easy to control. I grow Archangel lamium (dead nettle) which can also be invasive but so easy to control.

A great little trailing plant for hanging baskets, there's also a green variety, no variegation. You don't seem to see it for sale much these days, if looking for it look in the basket stuffer section at garden centers. I have this growing as a ground cover in a large U shaped planter around a small pool, it runs along the top of the soil rooting at every node. Think twice before planting it in an unconfined space. Yes, Runaway Robin is good name for this little cutie, left to do it's thing without restrictions it will be earning another name, Devil's Disciple :o).

I've put in a slight raised bed around my oak tree which has bleeding hearts and astilbe. It won't harm the vegetation around it, so I'm sure it will be fine.

With the name Glechoma, it is a relative of ground ivy, or creeping Charlie, considered a very invasive ground covering plant found in lawns around the midwest. It is very difficult to get rid of when it gets into the lawn as it keeps rooting along every node as it runs. Covered with small purple flowers in spring.

Yep, from what I read in davesgarden it can be invasive but very easy to control. I can't find where this plant is a problem in my state so I think it will do well in the area under the oak tree.
