roses resistant to japanese beatles

When the Japanese beatles arrive in Maine around July, I

may as well cut my roses back for the season. Even with

spraying, which I'd like to stop, most continue to be

devoured. A few have some resistance, so that with a little spray and regular squishing, they do well. Astrid

Lindgren is my favorite in this category. Any other roses

that perform well against jb's? Mary
