Attractive veggies in the flower garden

Because my garden is so small, I only have one raised bed I can devote to veggies. I grow a lot there, but this year I wanted to experiment with incorporating some veggie plants in the regular flower borders. I know some people plant tomatoes, etc. in pots, but that isn't a good option for me either - again, no room for pots. Plus I really hate the constant need to water them.

Anyway, I was really surprised at how attractive eggplant are. They fit perfectly amongst the flowers. My pineapple tomatillo is quite pretty too. I'm thinking carrots could be nice used as an edging. Herbs are easy to fit in. Anything else you think would work?
