Quick ? for my 8yr old re: white fungus in her plants' soil

Hi.

My 8yr old daughter is, for the first time, growing plants, and she loves it. She's definitely caught the planting bug. Her African Violet is doing fantastic. It's really, really pretty and seems exceptionally happy in our living front window.

However, we bought this Miracle Grow Kids Greenhouse kit where you plant seeds of peppers, tomatoes and cucumbers. The cucumbers and tomatoes have already sprouted. The problem is that almost immediately the soil in her greenhouse pots has developed a white fungus growing all around in it. It's gross.

Does that mean the soil is screwed up? Should I replace the soil they provided us, should I just re-pot them, or do I just leave them alone for the time being? Is this fungus going to hurt the plants?

Thanks in advance. The fungus is bothering me a lot more than it is my daughter. When she looks at it all she sees are the sprouts. She loves it.
