Which trees (River Birch, Redbud, Dogwood, Serviceberry)?

I need some advice on which trees would be recommended to plant at our home in the suburbs of Chicago. I would like to plant 4 trees; 3 of them in open, unshaded areas of our backyard and one on a bed that comes out from the bed in our front yard. The three in the backyard will be used as shade and privacy from surrounding neighbors and the one in the front needs to be kept fairly small and should be more ornamental. We like the spring flowering trees.

In the back we were thinking of a river birch and then a combination of two of the following: Redbud, Flowering White Dogwood, Gray Dogwood, Silky Dogwood, Red Osier Dogwood, Saskatoon Serviceberry, and/or Shadbush Serviceberry. In the front, we would like to possibly put one from this list too(we already have a weeping cherry in the center of the yard. Any suggestions, comments etc would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
