This is my 3 year old Burlesque. It is a lot taller than listed on Heirloom; mine is easily 7 feet tall; It does not mind hard pruning in the Spring to keep it shorter. My pictures are taken in full sun, so the color is more deep mauve; in the evening near dusk, its color can become dark purplish as shown on Heirloom. Fragrance: Burlesque has a deep and warm, very attractive fragrance. In the first year, my Burlesque produced blooms that are more dark pink and white stripes, which is totally different than the picture on Heirloom. You can see in the picture, that it has streaks of white. I was disappointed; but its fragrance is so attractive, so I wanted to wait for it to be more mature. The color of the blooms in the third year is a lot deeper and darker; at times it does look like the picture on Heirloom. I had always loved its fragrance; its beauty grows in me. Especially when the color 'dotted' to accentuate other ligher color (peach, or cream) around; it gives the depth of your garden when look from far. I strongly recommend Burlesque. Maryland, zone 7B.

And thank you for the complements! To be honest I was very impatient with Sally her first year, but her second year she blew me away. I'm so grateful I didn't make any rash desicions after that first year and shovel her! EEK! PS I just ordered a Perfume Breeze from RU based on your pics and rec. I hope it works in my zone. I feel like we have similar taste in fragrance so I'm pumped!

Hi ! Grace rose farm currently has two different kinds of roses .. the ones with common names you see from other vendors ( French lace , Francis meilland etc ) are from her actual farm . They are a few years old and come bare root and people have been posting how massive they are . So seems like a great deal ! She also throws in a freebie if you buy two I believe. She has the one gallon new roses coming in April or may . They come direct from Arizona .she partnered with a place that grows florist roses and is able to offer them for sale for the garden . I have a few coming this April . They look so beautiful! However, I’m not sure if they are ones that will need to be babied in your winter or if they are disease resistant. In fact I don’t know if she’s even mentioned it on Instagram. It may just be something you have to see for yourself! But a lot of them are grown in the garden by regular gardeners in other countries. I’ve seen beautiful pics of pink ohare in the garden ! I’m looking forward to seeing photos of everyone’s when they come in . Dont forget roses unlimited ! i just love her roses too . so many gems !
