Comments (5)sg, If you do anything to the irrigation system will you nullify the warranty from your homebuilder? Is your controller 6 zone model? Two options: 1) use the zone for the raised bed for all your flower beds. I would do everything underground using pvc pipe until you need to attach an adapter/Drip for the plantings. Dig down the raised bed wall and under the wall footing with pvc pipe across the lawn and under the sidewalk ( place a sleeve under the sidewalk and then slip the irrigation pipe through. 2) dedicate a separate zone from a new auto-valve to the controller for the 6th zone and pipe it from the valve(put it wherever you want it) connect to the mainline with a tee and pipe to where you need it. Comments (1)marsha, I can't think of another way to do this when involving filters since your drip is sourced with you sprinkler system off the well. You are already deciding one filter for all the drip zones or separate small filters for each drip lines. Your well really dictates you not doing drip but small bubblers that sand can't clog or even a pvc pipe with 1/16" holes drilled in it and then drilled larger by the trial and error methods (There are some threads discussing this) or even small flood irrigation if you have the slope in the bed. Comments (2)if i were you i wouldn't connect you irrigation to a hose faucet. Thanks for the feedback. This guy is a "rainbird select" contractor. So much for that assurance? Anyway, he said they would connect to the main. The first 10 ft. is free, but $6/ft. beyond that. I figured it would cost me another $60-100 bucks. Anyway, I checked out the company with the Better Business Bureau and they have an "unsatisfactory record". 17 complaints within the last 3 years. Most complaints were resolved, but a couple were not even addressed. I cancelled the install. Thanks again. -jasper Here is a link that might be useful: check out a company with the BBB...See Morekarl_bapst_rosenut
