Darn - First Japanese Beetle Found Here Today

linlily

I was outside admiring some of my new daylilies and found the first Japanese Beetle for this year. I hate to see them start already because last year they really made a mess of my gardens.

We have a Boxer and do not want to use heavy duty pesticides because Boxers often contract cancer and immun-deficiency diseases.

We've used the Beetle Bags in the past, but I think they've brought more beetles to our yard than we started with.

Any ideas on how to control these pests, especially natural controls - besides Milky Spore and hand picking?

Linda
