John Deere L118 Modifications for more power?

Guys,

I'm new to the world of tractor modifications but old to the world of rebuilding car motors and modifying engines. So, I understand a lot of how an engine works. But I must say that some tractor lingo doesn't translate over (I'll keep reading the forum)...

Ok,

So, I've got a L118 tractor (it's basically an L120). It's got the L120 motor and a 42" deck like the 120.

I'm looking to make more power out of this motor. What are my options? Do I have any? Is there an aftermarket out there that I can turn to?

Let's assume I'll do everything on my own...so if it comes down to adding displacement (via bore & stroke) I can do it.

Tuning the motor afterwards will be something I'll need some help with as I'm used to computer ECU tuning - not this kind.

I'm very well versed on rich vs lean and a/f ratios and how important it is to keeping the motor running.

What are my options guys????
