Keeping wild animals out of compost bin

I would like to start composting (its mostly going to be kitchen scraps and paper - we have no yard waste) but we have lots of animals roaming the area. Coyotes, dogs, rabbits, gophers, deer, small rodents, crows, ravens, etc...and rarely a lost young bear. We don't live close enough to the mountains to need to take bear precautions with outdoor food, but I certainly don't want to attract other animals to tear apart or knock over a compost bin. I have seen what the crows do to my trash bin if it is too full for the lid to be closed on trash day.

Can anyone recommend a bin that is not really expensive? (I know that is relative but really, anything over $100 needs to be spectacular to be worth it). We will be moving in 2 years and it will stay with the property.

Thanks. With summer here we are eating lots more fresh fruit and veggies and it is bugging me to dump the scraps/rinds into the trash.
