I have a lot of floribundas, but most of my pinks, peaches and apricots are hybrid teas. The floribundas I have that do well in the vase are Scentimental (white with red stripes...dries to beautiful potpourri, too), Singin the Blues (beautiful lavender that lasts a week in the vase, but only a couple of hours on the bush in my heat/humidity...may do better on the bush in your area), Moondance (white), White Licorice (pastel yellow fading to white), Sunsprite (bright yellow...opens quickly once cut, but then lasts several days). I haven't cut Julia Child (butter yellow) in a while, but best I can remember, she does okay. Easy Going (apricot yellow) and Easy Does It (peachy pink) don't last a long time in the vase, but they bloom so much you could cut a vase full of new ones daily if you had to...actually, the same for Julia Child...those three are very heavy, constant bloomers and very disease resistant here in my climate.

I'll bet Abraham Darby will thrive in your area. It will last for at least a week in the vase. The florabunda Hannah Gorden makes a great cut flower.

Try cutting your floribundas as they are just opening. If they are fully open when cut, they won't last long (similar problems with Austins and some OGRs), but cutting them a little tighter allows them to open inside and keep a few more days.

Diane's right, and I'd recommend the same thing. Florries can do quite well.

The roses that do best here won't "do" for you -- but for those in the West ... my best cut rose is "Grandmother's Hat," cut tight.

I have lately discovered that I can keep sprays of 'Lady Ann Kidwell' (again, cut tight) in a vase for a week. (This came as a huge surprise to me.) I bet I could do the same thing with 'Mlle. Cecile Brunner.'

Remember to put some sprite or 7up in the vase. There are recipies on the internet for floral preservatives.

Belinda's Dream is pretty good in the vase.

If Paul Neyron does well in your vicinity, I'd recommend this lovely pink Hybrid Perpetual for the flowers lasted 2 whole weeks for me! And even after the petals faded, they remained intact and would only release after tugging. The only problem for me is that Paul Neyron doesn't bloom as much as a Hybrid Tea.

Paul Neyron is thornless and the flowers are borne on long stems too.

I read some comments from others about Paul Neyron and many seem to have bad experiences with this rose. But mine's has been healthy as any other rose in my garden.

And both Paul Neyron and Abe Darby release wonderful scents. Love having those on my desk.

There is one rose I use continually for cutting - lasts a good 2 weeks without shattering and looks lovely at all stages. Not an obvious choice but the little ground cover Sommerwind, aka Surrey, bred by Kordes, makes a perfect bouquet if you cut a generous stem with several clusters (this rose is in continuous bloom with a fast regrowth - the only downside is no scent).
It is a fairly generic pink and the bloom is quite ordinary....but what is extraordinary is the graceful shape of each spray, and its ability to last for weeks, still looking pristine.

I'm so excited, I found a local nursery that carries a large selection of David Austin roses in 5gal containers for only a few dollars more than the 3 gallons and they have Abe Darby in!

I've never seen Paul Neyron before, but it looks lovely, almost like a peony! I've found a whole bunch of floribundas that look lovely, so maybe cutting them earlier will help - Mother of Pearl, Floral Fairy Tale and Rita Levi Montalcini all look amazing! Not sure if I'd be able to pick one
