One plant per post is preferred, but plenty of people are willing to participate in projects like this if it's easier for you. You can find your garden zone here. If you include this info in your profile, it will show up next to your name when you post (although some people find it necessary to also type it in the "zone" box when making a post to get it to stick.) This will allow people to give you more specific advice based on climate, weather, etc...

My seeds are packed up and will go out in Monday's mail, just in time for the deadline. Things are good here Angela, TY for asking. :) Very busy with sowing, pruning, and garden cleanup. In my climate this is a very good time to do all that. Just sowed several different culinary herbs yesterday. :) Also busy planning out which food seeds I'll need with me, when I leave here and move someplace with a climate that's approximately Zone5. I will have a pretty short season, so I'll need vastly different veg/fruit varieties from what I've been growing here in Zone11. The place I'm moving to is pretty remote and has a very high cost of living, so buying or swapping for the seeds after I move is not such a great option. I'd spend a lot more if I did that. It will certainly be an adventure! On the one hand, I won't be able to grow my own ginger root, or grow things year round outdoors, anymore. On the other hand, I WILL be able to go skiing which I cannot do here, and I'll be able to grow alpine strawberries, which totally refuse to grow here. Gotta look at the blessings. :) Like the rest of you, I'm looking forward to seeing what goodies I get in this swap! :)

Short story: I have the name of someone whose email address traces back to a 19-story office building in San Diego. I've done several reverse address lookups online and can't seem to find out the name of his company, which I really need. I've also called the building's management office and they won't tell me anything--although I'm still waiting to hear back from the supervisor. All I need is for someone to go to the building and look at the building directory and get me the name(s) of any furniture-related businesses in the building. I would do it myself but I live outside Seattle. If anyone out there is willing to help, I have more info but I'd rather not post it on GW. Please contact me at the link on my page.
