Debating what mower to buy next

I have about 2 to 2.5 acres of grass to mow. I started years ago with a cub with about a 38 inch deck and that was too small to I eventually went up to a troybilt 25 hp, 54 inch deck and that mower just seized the engine. 200 hours on the engine and full of oil. I haven't taked in apart yet to see exactly what happened. I never really liked it so I am looking at new mowers again.

So I'm comparing cub cadets (since my first cub cadet mower from 1999 is still going strong at my buddies house)and was debating between a zero turn mower and a zero turn tractor. Of the 2.5 acres, it's all flat and about 1/3 or so of it is a section with lots of rocks and trees that I need to mow around.

I'm not sure which mower is easier to drive. The mowing is shared between me, my wife and my 70 year old dad. Who complained about his shoulder hurting after mowing with my troybilt. That's what was leading me to the zero turn rider and not the tractor. But I've never driven a zero turn rider before. Any sugggestions. I was looking between the cub cadets rzt50 rzt54 ztt46 and ztt50.

Any suggestions and I'm open to other brands if someone has a reccomendation.

Thanks,

Nick
