Dawg....I paid the first HM for approx. 12 hours of work @$12 an hour(of which only about 7 hours was spent on the GH foundation, the other hours he spent putting up molding inside and other misc jobs because when he came back the second time...it was very windy). The second set of guys promised to finish it for $200. 2 of them spent about 6 hours and never came back...and he has NEVER come asking for any $$$ Plus he left his ladder here...bonus for me I say...OF COURSE, I'll give it back to him if he returns...but I sure wont be paying him for a job that someone else did. The neighbor has not charged me anything...and I have baked him cookies...and have offered to take he and his wife out to a nice dinner of their choice and time. I've debated about offering him $$$ I suspect he would not accept it...but I'm not sure how to approach it...Any thoughts on that notion? I still really appreciate your very generous offer...I just knew my DH would have done a double back flip if I had actually accepted your offer....Just think of what he would have thought!!! Having had some OTHER MAN...travel from SOME OTHER STATE...not to mention (from his perspective) a TOTAL STRANGER....(of course having interactions with you here as well as via email...I know that you are no STRANGER than me :) ....ha ha.....The divorce would have definitely cost me much more!!!!! Try typing: " " without the outer quotes and with the full address of the location of your photo (hosted on a web server or a photo hosting service, i.e. "http://www.myphotohost.com/myfolder/thenameofmypicture.jpg") substituted for the contents of the square brackets and the brackets, themselves. Include the set of inner double quotes around the address. Also, take pitty on the owner of this site and the people who are going to download your pictures and keep them smaller than 800 x 600 pixels. Don't post your 5 Megabyte 2000 x 4000 pixel images. We can't see them anyway with our limited browsers and we don't have time to wait for them to download. Simple resizing programs are available for free on the net if you didn't get one with your digital camera.

A couple of things come to mind, Brian, when reading your post. 1. The frame is aluminum, a relatively soft metal, and I fear that repeated assembly and disassembly would tend to weaken the joints. 2. In SE Michigan, you are probably going to need some considerable insulation unless you plan on spending a bundle to heat your greenhouse. This means you will also have to remove and store your insulation material. (Here in Zone 7 coastal NJ, I use 1" foam panels inside on the north wall/roof and a clear solar pool cover outside.) 3. Could you find an alternate use for the greenhouse in the warmer months? It can get pretty warm inside in the summer, but with adequate ventilation and perhaps by replacing a few of the pc panels with screen panels during the summer, you might find it useful. I find it a safe haven for plants I'm coddling: young seedlings/plantlings or other plants that need a little TLC and protection from squirrels and other garden mischief makers. 4. If at all possible, go with the 6x8 at a minimum, You'll be surprised at how quickly it fills up; your plant collection will most likely expand, now that you have space for them, and, as long as you have the space, it's nice to have fresh herbs available through the winter ... and then maybe a cherry tomato or two, and perhaps some lettuce/mixed greens ... and so on. And unless you already have a sun porch, you'll find it a delightful place to spend time on an icy but sunny winter day; that's why I keep a chair in mine. We did assemble our 6x8 HFGH in about six hours or so. My oldest son and I did the assembly and my daughter saved us time by applying the foil tape to the ends of the panels. I added the weatherstripping later, only because I didn't have it on hand when we were first assembling. Our yard is also quite small, but the space "invested" in our little greenhouse has proved to be well worth it, especially in the winter! Good luck and enjoy!

My shower is smaller than 4x6 but we have the door on the short end, controls on the longer wall and a bench at the back. So if I am understanding you correctly you setup should look like mine only a little bigger. It works great for us. Make sure you hand shower is mounted close enough to the bench so it can be used while sitting on the bench.
