Greenhouse/Sun room design.

I was just given 80 sheets of 28" x 32" x 3/16" tempered glass. I want to build a sunroom addition onto our house, to use for auxilary heat in the winter, and for starting plants in the spring.

I'm not making a greenhouse as such, since it would not be heated except for 6 weeks in spring.

So I will end up with a room that in summer is a screen house, during most of the winter is a fairly warm room during the day, but well below freezing at night. (During the day, warm air from the roof peak will be blown into the crawl space under the house to warm the floors.)

One end is attached to the house. The other is not.

With large temperature swings there is going to be movement.

Anyone have design pointers on how to minimize movement without digging an 8 foot foundation?

Anyone have pointers to detail plans for the framing of a glass greenhouse.
