My first stinkin' experience with Alfalfa tea!

Well, I did NOT apply it to my roses or clems. But, I did apply it to my perennials, hostas, and my lawn. Let me tell you it was no easy matter! Carrying that bucket back and forth to apply. Got a real good sniff of it in the meantime too!

I have found that I am not sure how to apply it to my lawn well. All I had was either use my bucket to pour it on, or my pump sprayer. Using the pump sprayer was not very efficient I don't think.

I have now realized that if I do make any alfalfa tea it will only be in smaller amounts and only if a particular plant needs a boost. It's just too much work for me lol!

I am, however, going to apply my alfalfa meal around the roses dry, and not near the rootzone. It'll be a LOT easier to carry around a bucket of dry meal than the liquid.

Ok, just wanted to share my new experience lol.

Sure does stink though! I think I can even taste it, and I think I got it on my socks! Yuck!

I put the leftover mush on my compost piles.
