Need advice for

I've read that the average Dallas summer consists of about fifteen 100 degree F days, with over sixty days of such weather in 1980. Shucks, one day in August a couple of years back it topped 109. I'm used to it, but I think things might get a tad stuffy in my 10x12 HFGH. I figured that before I stick it together, I'd better decide on my modifications.

Long story short, I need some sort of cooling solution that's going to work in the long run. I've looked around at the pricey evaporative coolers, but I was wondering if someone here has a line on a good price. I couldn't find much searching the forums, but what I have read has been informative.

Alternately, if there's some good plans on how to DIY build such a setup, I'm all ears! Saving hundreds by finding individual parts and cobbling something together would be finer than a frog's hair split four ways.

Also, what % shade cloth should I look into? And should I install extra vents/exhausts?
