i got handle savers for both of my maul and my sledge. anyone have a good way to put them on. the box says to use ky jelly or linseed oil but it seems as though that would be dangerous because the handle would be slippery after words..??how do you guys put them on. for anyone who doesnt know handle savers are rubber blocks you put on anything like a sledge to protect the handle from snapping in the event of a over hit.
