Cliff Frates It needs bit more water. Mine didn't really dropped leaves but they got brown & dry when too dry. It needs, perhaps, be little more mature to bloom - not sure. Mine bloomed within abt. 6mo after I got it & was still pretty small. Here is the photo of original plant in Feb. 2018. It grew quite a bit since I started more regular watering & repotted in bigger pot (I have 2 of them now). Pot should be deeper since it has longer & thicker roots (see pic 2. I repotted into 12x5" pots). Do you have pic of your other plant?

If you want it to keep growing, take off most of the seeds. Save a few for replanting. If you leave the seeds on, it will die once they mature. Plus, it isn't cold hardy, so bring it in somewhere warm and safe if it gets too cold. I just scatter the dried seeds I've reserved onto the ground in the pot and they come up the next year. I only use small pieces of it in salads. I didn't like it cooked.
