Well, I don't know. I looked at both those roses on Help Me Find and I guess it could be. Maybe there was something about the way this GW member grew this rose or pruned it that gave it a little different look to it. And the color of the rose on the arbor seems a little coral to me, but that could just be the camera or the light. Thanks for the help. :-)

Thanks Diana for the details. I assumed that Gemini should be good - so many forumeres spoke highly of this rose. Mine is on fortuniana (Merrygrow sale, last year). You know, Pristine was stingy for me, too till it was in full sun. It wasn't a very tall plant either. We moved it about three years ago into a morning sun-afternoon shade spot because I needed some pastels between the reds so they wouldn't clash. To my surprise this rose has become a huge plant and blooms all the time - provided I can keep up with dead heading otherwise it develops huge hips.

Depends on the variety, without knowing the names we can't really answer. Minis can get more than 3 feet tall. "Mini" refers to the size of the flower, not the size of the plant. You can grow them in decorative pots, I have a few in plastic faux-terra cotta pots.

Hi there: If your window boxes are made of wood, it is better to leave your plants in thier pots. I have found if your place soil directly in the window boxes, they will start to rot, and the soil when wet becomes rather heavy too. One od mine came loose from my shed, and had to be repaired. I just leave the plants in pl;astic pots and lift them out to water then replace them. I tried Impatiens ,but they became so large they blocked the window. Pansies are good, and dwarf Marigolds. Dianthus is neat because it trails down the sides. I like to change mine with the seasons. Petunias are great for the Summer.I have Charmed Velvet Oxalis in mine now. It has a dark almost Black leave. I am going to put some Orange Panzies in for Halloween.
