It's your choice, of course. Is there anything that you're not growing that you wish you were growing? If you don't have any sort of greens growing, you could plant Swiss Chard or New Zealand Spinach now. At this time of year, I often plant whatever I think we don't have enough of. Like Diane said, you can never have too many tomatoes because it is so easy to preserve them. If you want to move some of the small tomatoes now before they get much larger, the timing is right for that too. Or, if you are not growing any herbs, there is still plenty of time to plant some. I just now have been digging up some lemon basil and lemon balm volunteers out of my garden pathways and moving them into some empty spots left after the harvest of the broccoli. If you like to make your own pesto, you still have time to plant and harvest a lot of whichever type of basil you like to use. Often, at this time of year, I put in dill, fennel and parsley to fill "holes" in the garden, and they are more for the butterflies and to attract beneficial insects than anything else. I've linked the OSU fall planting dates below. It's a tiny bit early to plant most cool-season crops for fall since many of them cannot handle the July/August heat very well. If you want to grow a cool-season crop that's not on the linked list from OSU, let me know, and I can tell you when I plant it here. My cool-season dates are a combination of recommended dates for OK and for north-central Texas since I'm on the border between the two, but I think we could move the "north central Texas" dates forward a couple of weeks to account for your earlier first fall freeze up there and could adapt them to northern OK too. It isn't any harder (for me) to grow cool-season crops here in OK than it was in Texas, and I assume those of you farther north could grow them as well, assuming we don't have a first fall freeze that is exceptionally early. Have you looked into items and spaces that will make life easier once you move in? Such as shelves in the laundry room, where you'll put the kitchen garbage pail, etc. I wanted to dwell on this point a little more, too. That you should focus on setting up the INFRASTRUCTURE you will need. I love infrastructure--we often ignore it, esp. stuff like shelving, etc. Be sure you have hooks for brooms, enough shelves int he closets (in any closet w/ shelves, seriously consider adding ONE MORE shelf) Then, you can decide what you want to put there. "Gumball Rally" is what I thought it was.And that's a great philosophy for lots of situations. Gloria, we're contemplating a move down the block, and my DH was saying "no need to pay movers except for the piano and the couch; we can just carry it down." Over my dead body! We've got 2 kids, and 4 people's worth of stuff. Last time we moved, I nearly killed one of his friends (who was helping us but wouldn't listen to me) out of frustration. I told DH then, we are never moving ourselves again. It is just TOO HARD. And, that same friend moved, w/ DH helping, and he packed some, moved some, etc. It's VERY inefficient. MUCH more efficient to pack everything, truck it over in ONE trip (get as big a truck as you need), and then unpack. I suppose 4 doors away doesn't require a truck, but it'll use a handcart, and major packing. I've really learned mylesson from watching those friends. Pack everything before you move ANYthing.

Here are my garlic beds as of March 28th. They are doing well so far in spite of getting some leaf damage from 2 hail storms in early March. I haven't counted but I think around 200 of the 221 cloves planted are now growing which is a little over 90%. They should really take off now that the temperatures are warming up and we have broken out of our drought. I fertilized them with urea last week and will again in another week or 2. First pic is of about 60 German White and the second picture has 2 beds with about 140 plants of the 9 different varieties I listed in the OP.
