Kirk..Are you talking about your new fish? IMO it is sometimes what they have been used to eating versus a new kind of food. My fish will eat anything, but prefer floating pellets because that is what I give them. They don't like to have to find them on the bottom. They will eat sinking pellets, if I drop them slowly. My daughters fish only will eat sinking pellets, because that is what they are used to. They seem to like scrounging around on the bottom for their food. Your new fish also need to adjust to a new invironment. You can give them cooked green peas minus the skin of the peas. Hope they start eating soon for you. Glenda

Its the sun dews they won't bend over the bugs, they won't move... its deff dew its sticky the bugs have a hard time getting away.. but they just drag there bodies down the tentacles. They are obviously eating them whether they wrap around or not, but they DON'T trap the bug and it eventually get away. My plants are outside on a Sun porch that gets full Sun all on cloudyover cast dadays i put the cf day light bulb or the indeincandescent lighting system on them. I'll post pictures to try and show YOU what i mean

Success! My cat Larry for no apparent reason, stopped eating at age 12 years old. I took him to the vet & all tests came back good. As far as the vet could determine there was no reason he was not eating. He was dangerously undernourished & his weight plummeted over the course of several months. I really thought we were going to lose him. I tried just about every food I could get my hands on including advice from cat rescue people of foods that even the "most finicky cats" would eat. Larry wanted no part of any of them. My husband & I tried everything. We were cooking fresh fish, eggs, baby food, the list goes on & on. Then I finally found a food he would eat! It is "BLUE BUFFALO HEALTHY GROWTH KITTEN" dry food. (I buy it at Petsmart.) It has now been 3 and a half weeks & he's still eating & slowing gaining his weight back. To all of you going through this, I advise you to give it a try & GOOD LUCK! :) April

What anguish I read these comments with. My beloved Maine Coon Cat at age ten gradually stopped eating after his requisite vaccinations. He gradually lost a third of his weight. I took him to the vet. Blood work was done. Palpations were done. He stopped eating, or, as far as I could tell, drinking. I was distraught, and, finally, on a weekend took him to the Pet hospital, where he is now. After reading many of these comments, I am very afraid. He is ten years old and we have had him since he was three weeks old. He is laid-back, thoughtful, and has command of much vocabulary. How can we get along without our beloved cat? He is to have an ultrasound tomorrow, and I shudder at what the news might be. . .
