My mother has these 3 plants, The first 2 are perrenials in the ground and were there when she moved in. She is in eastern PA, zone 6b. The third one is in a pot on her front porch a neighbor had given her. She is clueless as to what they are and so am I. I havent seen the first 2 in bloom, so I dont hve pics of the flowers, but she says they are purple. Sorry no more info than that, but I am hoping you geniuses can get it by the leaves..I have faith in all you experts :)

Perrenial in the ground, gets purple flowers:

    #1 is Geranium.

I think number 2 might also be a geranium. By the way, the scientific name is "geranium", these are not the same as the summer annuals that are red/pink/etc. and sold by the name Geraniums. Those plants are Pelargoniums.

Here is a link that might be useful: Geraniums

#3 is a Pilea...not sure of the species. It is not the plant known as the aluminum plant, though. That one is Pilea cadierei.
