Can I sow Colchicum seeds and leave them outside during Winter?

I have just planted 80 seeds of Colchicum Autumnale. I know they are very slow with their germination, but I think that if I sow them now and leave them outside, they will have all the time they need to be cold-stratified throughout winter.

However, I am worried of when it will start to freeze (going under 32F). Do you think Colchicum seeds are resistant enough to stand freezes up to 25F as it sometimes happens here in Dallas during Winter?
