Thank you also for linking the thread on the discussion of "St. Helena Cemetery Very Double HT". I was going to say that it answers my original question, that is IF "Arcadia Louisiana Tea" is the same rose. Evidently Vintage doesn't think they are the same as he still lists both roses separately. Also describes their bush sizes as different. However, "Arcadia Louisiana Tea" is certainly close to the rose I have, especially if you allow for differences in climate. Plus roses can 'morph', so to speak. For instance, the Prairie Sunrise I got from Sam Kedem years ago has many more petals and tends to quarter where the specimen from Chamblees does not. 'Teacher's Pet' ('00) Dorothy Benedict x Hosta montana 'Teacher's Pet' combines a captivating creamy white margin with a nicely corrugated slightly shiny green leaf. Leaves are lightly wavy, broadly ovate with a cordate base. The petioles have a cream margin and the seed is viable. Near white flowers with pale lavender base arrive in mid June. This is a truly beautiful plant that has also given me a fantastic sport that I now call 'Amazing Matthew'. Lela, The seeds are incredibly tiny. I just wait until the flowerheads are totally brown and dry and then I snip off the flower heads and let them fall into a bowl. Once I'm inside the house where the wind can't blow the seed away, I just hold a flowerhead in my hand over a white paper plate and shake it gently. The seeds and chaff all fall onto the plate, and I just separate the seeds/sma;ll pieces of chaff out from the larger pieces of plant debris if I can and put them in an airtight container and save them in my seed box. I wait until the seedheads are completely dry and the seeds fall easily. If you're trying to save seeds when the humidity is high or there's been a lot of rain, you may have to let the seedheads set and dry indoors for a few days before the seed will shake out easily. I don't bother trying to separate the tiny seeds from the chaff...just leave them mixed together and then plant them together. If your seedheads don't drop seeds, then it is likely the wind already had dispersed the seeds from the flowerhead. Dawn
