Someone else posted here about growing seedlings real thick so I tried it for my tomatoes...worked great..I had probably 12-15 seedlings comming up in a bottom of a cutoff milk jug..let them get at least a week past 1st true leaves..I let mine get a little bigger..make sure your medium is slightly damp...I will never use anything else besides PROMIX again...slide the whole root mass out of the container or just flip it over and gently peck on the botom of the plants and the mix starts to fall off..u won' get it all off but enough to GENTLY seperate the plants..some of them I thinned out and planted in other container twice..probably 2 much work for some but with only 3 lights and a very small green house I ended up withabout 150 plants with no casualties to speak of..give it a shot if u r limited with lights and space!
