Think I shouldn't have touched that?

Okay so here is what happened. I was at a local garden today. On my way out, I noticed a plant. It was pretty tall and one single stalk in the center. I wish I had paid more attention to detail. I then noticed 2 very pale yellow trumpet or tubular type flowers. Then I noticed some ripe seed pods clinging. I was in a big hurry and grabbed a few of them to bring home. Once I got here, I broke open the capsules. Inside I find the tiniest seeds, almost poppy like. The seed pod was about the size of an eraser on the end of a pencil. Once broken open, the pods had a not so nice smell. Now I am feeling some tingling sensation in my fingers and arms. Any clue what this flower might be with these few details?
