Name That Plant!

Not sure if this is a flowering plant or a weed, please help!

Hi, there is a clump (3) of these approximately 3-foot tall plants growing in one of my flower garden areas. It looks as though it's getting ready to seed/flower. Any help identifying it would be greatly appreciated - I'm not sure if I should pull it before it lets loose with those seeds! I'm also going to add a close up photo of the seed heads/flowers. Thanks very much!

Yup, ragweed, Ambrosia artemisiifolia, a major cause of allergies due to its wind-borne pollen.

My eyes water looking at it. Agree with ragweed. It sure has a pretty leaf, though, doesn't it?
