I thought it was goutweed at first, long before it flowered and I spent a while in the spring trying to tear it up, but I don't know that I did any good. I have goutweed in several other places in my yard, growing very high and spelling doom for the vinca minor underneath it. I'm inclined to leave the bellflower. It seems to have a lower profile than goutweed though, which seems less aggressive to me since other plants will still get sun.

next time.. no pix at noon... the contrast is way off.. making it hard to see.. also.. a little closer next time.. on leaves and flowers ... we will take your word on the shrub shape but ID requires our poor old eyes focusing on the important parts ... ken

I don't know what is currently in stock but you can ask to be notified via email when one comes back into stock. Just click on the plant to go to its page to sign up for notifications. Another source of various bells (some species and some hybrids) is Joy Creek Nursery, though their website is a bit more difficult to navigate IMO since you have to start with a list with no photos and click on each name to see a photo if there's a camera icon. Both send really nice quality plants. (Warning: They can be addictive!)

That's a cool tree! It's long (compound?) leaves stand out a bit more than mine which tend to have 2 pairs of opposite leaflets vs the 8 + of curry. The berry of mine is also "crinkled" vs. smooth from what I've seen in the curry tree pictures. Very similar and I'll continue to look for bark photos. Thanks!
