Token, you are so close to me - if I had them, it would be easy for me to drop them off - but I don't. I also don't harvest as much as others do here on the forum - I have a terrible habit of buying seeds - I got frustrated trying to harvest the seeds because they kept dropping before I could catch them. I also never noticed reseeds, but I am sure they do - I just never noticed it. I bought my seeds at Renfrow hardware in Matthews. carrie

I love the Victoria Salvias. I didn't get any this year, probably because I disturbed the reseeders in freshening up the bed (and I couldn't tell the difference between those seedlings and the Lavendar Hyssop). I still have seeds left from last year, though. I'll be WSing them for 2007-2008. Also Salvia hormonium (I know I slaughtered that "h" word....forgive me) Linda

I don't think it's ever too late to start salvia coccinea. Mine reseed all year long and there are always new little plants popping up here and there, close to the parent. I've never grown salvia farinacea from seed, so can't help you with that one. Good luck! Marcia

I live in the VERY center of PA and our temps range from -20-40 according to what they say (not that we see it! LOL). I planted blue bedder almost two years ago from seed. It came up last year as a surprise to me because I forgot about it! I read posts here on GW about it not surviving in my area so I assumed it was gone. I had moved another plant nearby it and noticed sprouts and just thought it was more of the other plant that I needed to take out. We got a good week of rain and I went out to move the coreopsis two days ago and realized it was my blue bedder sage coming back! So don't give up yet if you haven't already!
