Will Sprouts from last years seeds be good?

Last year I grew a nice garden and then on a whim harvested the seeds of my favorites (multiple types of lettuce, basil, bell peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes). Two weeks ago I planted the seeds in a domed seedling container and most everything (69/72 cells) sprouted within a few days. My question is this, can I be certain that these sprouts will grow into plants that actually produce (i.e. if they sprouted are the necessarily good) or would I be better off just buying guaranteed seeds from the store.

Thanks,

Greg
