Posting Message with Embedded Photo?
Comments (3)Hi Dave, I use Photobucket also but I like to use the HTML Thumb code. Once you set up a Photobucket account go to account options then album settings and finally click on link options. In link options check the box for Clickable Thumbnail and save. Now when you download a picture to your Photobucket album you will see an option for HTML Thumb. Copy this code and paste it in the message box and you will get a picture like this. Something else I do in account options is to make my album private so people can only view the pictures I post. jim_6b...See MoreHTML code for embedding photos?
Comments (13)Writersblock is right, but in some browsers, the border is really obnoxious. Also, the alt, the description, is what comes up when the image is loading slowly or not at all (some security systems strip the images) as well as being what the accessibility readers speak aloud, so it's considered bad form not to include it. It doesn't need to be a full on description. Just something descriptive like "sink". Or "stainless sink" for one and "cast iron sink" for another. Changing the visual size with height and width numbers is an easy way to do it when you're pasting in from another website, but keep in mind it doesn't change the size of the picture, just the size it is shown at. If it's a photo off of a camera at full size, it's going to be a huge file (as in megabytes) and take a long time to load and be rejected by some servers. If you change the size in a photo editing program, the file size will change accordingly, your picture will display correctly without the extra code, and won't deliver all that excess information. Giving credit has nothing to do with stealing bandwidth and violating copyright. It's very good manners to give credit. It's better manners not to use pictures and internet resources without permission....See MoreChip Implants Linked to Animal Tumors
Comments (6)Please be aware that rats and mice develop tumors much more easily than dogs or people. I read this on the AOL vet board. Furthermore, the tumors they are correlating with the microchips formed right around the microchip, and they are not seeing this in pets. My dog did die of a brain tumor, but since she was a wandering breed, I feel it was prudent to microchip her. And her tumor was very deep and not close to the chip. I am fairly confident the 2 were not related, though certainly I can't be sure. Then again, every time she escaped, it was the tag on her collar that was used to find me....See More~Brain Burp!
