Help with Basye's Blueberry - gall?

sammy zone 7 Tulsa

I took these pictures the other day, and would like some help in identifying whether I have a problem.

Basye's Blueberry has odd looking canes in the first place, and I would like to think that these spots are where canes have broken off, or where I have pruned them, and the last couple of inches have died and fallen off. But I also am concerned that the spots may be due to gall or a disease.

I think the roses are about 6 or 7 years old. What do you think?

I know that Basye's Blueberry is not antique, but I think the canes might be more like an older rose than a modern hybrid tea or floribunda - that is why I am posting them here. I have 3 of these roses, and if I sadly need to destroy them, this is the time of year to do it.

What do you think?
