Can taros and dwarf papyrus be planted bareroot in the pond along the shelves? The water is approx. 6-8" deep, and its is hard to hide the pots they are in. They are actually outgrowing their pots.

Do I wash off the dirt and stand in among the rocks? And, what is the max depth of water they like above their crowns?
