Orchid won't bloom
Comments (21)The mystery of why your plant had so many leaves is solved! You have two plants growing. They look healthy, roots look good, one appears to be getting more light - size of leaf and color is lighter. Whether you separate them is up to you. I would leave them, increase light and hopefully you will get spikes this fall. I see you live in Oregon, it is possible the plants are not receiving enough light and you might want to supplement with a CFL bulb to increase your chance of spiking. Your plants should be making new leaves and roots over summer and with a temp drop in Sept. you should see spikes beginning. Jane...See MoreMy camera just won't stop

Then click "HTML code" under the photo. This will copy the code. Then just paste the code in your post. Preview your post, and the photo should be there. Looking forward to seeing your pics! SJN... I had to google Tillandsia, to see what you were refering to! I really know nothing about air plants. Every so often, one will mysteriously show up in my yard, and I purchased one from a local green market, a few years ago. It has multiplied, several times over, and blooms beautiful, tiny red flowers, once a year. I'll take a pic next time... I think in spring. I'll also check to see if it still has the ID tag hanging on it, when I get home from my trip. Tkanks, Neon... I hope to find a way to purchase that lot myself. All it takes is a bunch of money that I don't have! It isn't actually on the market yet, so I have some time. My neighbor is in his mid 80's, and is having trouble keeping up with the gardening. I help out where I can. The lot is inbetween our two houses, and he would love for me to have it... For a price! He's kind of waiting on me, while I'm stalling. It will break my heart to see it go to someone who will build a house, as it was one of the things that attracted me to my home, 14 years ago. Its tough typing this stuff with my thumbs, on my iPhone! Bob...See MorePruning a vine that won't stop blooming?
Comments (5)Hi Ruthie, I haven't seen these vines fruit yet, but I did recently find a third one at a garden center sale and it's close enough to one vine that they could make some viable fruits. When and if I get a fruit I will post here! Pea...See MoreMeyer Lemon won't stop blooming
Comments (9)Yes, if a Meyer lemon tree is happy that is. Also, if you cut off the flowers it will just make more, it's better to let them set little fruit first and then take those off when they're tiny. It may make fewer blooms then. And since your tree is working hard, don't forget to feed it often. You're foliage is just starting to get a little paler which is a sign it's hungry....See Moresolo_voyager
