Up to 3 snakes now

For several years, we just had one large northern water snake. Last year another one showed up. Today, yet another one.

I'm all for living and let live, but I only have these 2 300 gallon rubbermaid stocktanks, and I haven't seen one single frog yet this year. (except for tree frogs). Actually, I had 2-3 at the very beginning of spring, but now they're gone.

Do you think the snakes are eating/driving away any frogs, or is it just coincidence that there aren't any now?

I don't mind sharing my tiny watergardens with snakes, but I'm thinking 3 might be too many, and I sure do miss the frogs.

I'm having a philosophical conflict here.

Any insights?

Thanks.
